The club chartered on 15th May, 2002. At that time DG was Rtn Subhash Gard of Yamunanagar and AG Rtn Bansal - Rotary West Dehradun
The charter President of the club was Rtn Jagmohan Rawat
The Centenary President for the year 2004-05 was Rtn Dr J.P. Nawani
RI President Rtn Carl Welheim Stanhammer visited the Club in the year 2005-06 - Rtn Dr J.P. Nawani was the Chairman of the project - Rotary Polio Corrective Surgery under which 100 cases of Polio were operated in Mahant Indresh Hospital, Dehradun
Rtn Dr J.P. Nawani was sent as an Orphopaedic Surgeon from District 3080 on a Medical Mission to Combodia for the corrective surgery deformity project.
Rtn Dr.J.P. Nawani was the AG and President Indian Medical Association, Dehradun simultaneously
In the year 2005-06 a major project at Him Jyoti School was undertaken. Patron was Governor Uttrakhand Mr. Sudershan Aggarwal. Past DGP Rtn Prem Bhalla was the conveyer of the said project. The club provided Solar Lights, Desk & Chair, Computers as well as Kitchen furnishings & utensils.
Another major project was done at the same school as building renovation, handwash area, ten toilets. Rtn H.P. Uniyal donated liberary to the school.
The Club has been doing regular projects like Happy School etc.
